an excellent article

thanks for posting.
In addition to the above, I would say, there's no point in doing
"ANY" seo if one is interested in the long term health of one's website. Let's say, there's an
SEO scheme that someone comes up with that is totally unique and not yet in the mainstream. The website might do real well for a while ..... in no time other webmasters would pick it up, and very soon, search engines would start flagging it as a spammy tactic (this is exactly how the long list above got long in the first place

there'll be more additions

..... inevitable).
Instead of spending time on thinking about "how do i get traffic", and "how does my site get popular" and "how does my site get more backlinks", it's much more worthwhile to focus on improving the quality of one's site. simple. as one engages in this persuit, one's expertise would also keep increasing, and before long one would have mastered the ability of producing excellent content on a regular basis (yes, this is also a habit like any other....)
now, folks think : whats the use of excellent content? search engines dont understand english and sentence construction.. they just understand keywords and stuff like that ..... point is, excellent content automatically generates backlinks, without the need to link back, and without the headache of checking whether my reciprocal link partner removed my link from his pages and stuff like that. That time and mental energy saved (and it's more mental energy saved than time) would provide one with ample energy and time to improve the quality of one's site and make it an automatic backlink attractor

apart from becoming an authority site that we would be proud to show off to friends and family.
i wanted to add: there are some
seo tips that aim at improving the usability of one's site. That kind of stuff is fine......
