Talking thumbs up or thumbs down?

My first name is SUPER common so I was pretty happy to see this nice little domain name available for registration...

AboutMike.com

I think it should work well as a entry page into 'my world' kind of like tommytrc's tommytrc.com. The actual blog will probably be on a subdomain, blog.aboutmike.com.

I did too.. I reg'd then dropped my first and last in .info, I also recently registered mikelaw.org which I sort of use as an entry page to my online businesses.

The first time I dropped my full name .com, someone regged it and put an info page relating to "money laundering" (believe it or not)... when I re-regged it after it was dropped, Google had blacklisted it.. I got it reindexed, used it, decided I'd rather use my brand and dropped it again.

Not a big fan of white lettering on a dark background.. my thought is you need to make the type stand out and legibility is a must so I normally opt for black on white for that reason. Otherwise, looking good!

Way back in the murky days of the start of the internet, it so happened that someone in Dallas actually registered the .com of my name!
He still owns it!

Why I never got my name.....because of him....hahahahhaha

But I am like Dave, brand is better.
So thus, IowaDawg.com
