I guess there's no simple answer, but on the whole Google is the better one IMO. They're definitely more serious about search. For Yahoo, search was more of a "one more feather in the cap" .... Yahoo uis mostly a general portal /entertainment company which also happens to be in the search engine game because there's PPC dollars there. Same reason for MSN to get in. It's the money that's pulling them

If I were to search for something on the internet I'd first go to Google>>>Yahoo>MSN.

To be honest I only use Google. ( i started with webcrawler.com )
I think the output is the best... tho these days.. with the number of webpages
the first results are not always the best

Personally I use Google for all my searches. Before when I was using IE and didn't have a Google toolbar yet, I liked searching with Google because the homepage loaded faster for me. Now that I'm using FF and it has an integrated search toolbar, I still use Google, probably out of habit.

I will always like google better because its a simple layout. Yahoo is just to..intense. Its got links every where you look. Way to much content for the main page but as in search results..yahoo!.

It is useless to talk which SE is better. You have to use both because both bring you traffic and readers.

Personally, i use Google much more than Yahoo, as Yahoo takes even longer than Google to list sites...
