What are the best FireFox Add-ons for blogging?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ has an amazing number of FireFox add-ons, including many for weblogging and social networking. I'm about to try a few blog add-ons, including ScribeFire.
Please share your experiences - good and bad - with FireFox add-ons in this thread.
Regards,
Keith

Well, that's certainly the #1 resource, Keith.. trouble is, alot of the addons aren't working with FF3 so people should be aware and check for potential compatability issues.
I haven't been keeping up with it as I don't use FireFox but hopefully they'll get things sorted out!

Re: What are the best FireFox Add-ons for blogging?
The add-ons should catch up to be compatible with the latest FireFox.
One of the great ones is the spell check that works in the browser, helping you with spelling whether you're writing a forum post as I am now, or writing a blog post.
I also like some of the 'traffic measurement' add-ons, like Alexa and Compete. It is great to see the relative traffic of a site in the bottom of the browser window frame for every site you review - without ever having to look them up.
Those are at Alexa the Web Information Company and www.Compete.com, respectively.
I like the feeds, to keep up with what's happening in your online world so you can blog about it.
Regards,
Keith
p.s.: Still have to try ScribeFire

I've never been a big FireFox fan.. but I will say it's well supported with plenty of interesting addons!

Re: What are the best FireFox Add-ons for blogging?
FireFox and the FireFox add-ons have certainly helped spur development of Internet Explorer. If it weren't for the innovations - and inroads to browser market share - of FireFox, IE would likely still be without tabbed browsing and a lot of other good features.

Keith

Understood.. without competition, development typically stagnates.

Re: What are the best FireFox Add-ons for blogging?
I do use Firefox as my primary browser now but still run into the same problems.. developers create a plugin then never update for new browser updates. (similar problem with WordPress.. you find a good plugin but the developer loses interest and doesn't update it)

Absolutely, I will want to mention SEOQuake, SEOQuake - seo toolbar, plugin, seo extension for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera. It provides you insight into the ranking of many websites at the same time.

Looks ok but I hate addons that come in two flavors: light (crippled) and pro (paid and not crippled)..
