Since When Are Blogs Not Social Media?

Found this excellent post and outstanding blog via a post at Twitter. The author, Brian Clark, has his Copyblogger blog ranked in the top 8,000 sites by both Alexa and Compete.

The blog is about copy writing tips for blogging success and the author is obviously a great copy writer.

This post deals with the "demise" of blogging (again!) in favor of social media when blogs are, in fact, among the most social of media.

Personally, I think blogs are still very much alive.. some people (like myself) have no use for Facebook, et al.

In any case, with all the plugins currently available plus customized themes, the line between the standard blog and full-blown social media is fast becoming more and more blurred.. especially if you look at microblogging platforms like Noserub and the like.
